ICT
How do I integrate ICT into my Lessons?
As a teacher of Mathematics, I use Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to support and enhance the learning of my students.
I do this by using a variety of software applications, digital resources and learning tools. In Mathematics, I mainly Podcast my lessons because it is the easiest way to work with my Senior Students.
Other things I do to integrate ICT into my classroom is to:
- Use mind mapping software to create concept maps
- Use powerpoint presentations to introduce topics with audio (excellent for keeping the class quiet)
- Allow a setup of an internal Blog for my students to work collaboratively on set Mathematical Tasks
- Create a simple podcast or vodcast and place it on the school intranet for my students to access
- Create podcards for revision in powerpoint
- Use Online assessment and reporting for my students to access
- Use Graphics Calculators
- Show Mathematics Videos
